Bioshock 2 crack fix12/18/2023 ![]() It did for me but I've done all the other stuff with dx9 and GFWL but I still get the crashes. The " error 0x000002E4" message can be solved by running the launcher as administrator. So I pretty much spent $19.99 so the game can just sit in my Steam Library till I upgrade to Windows 7. There doesn't seem to be any solution to the issue. I don't think my Version of Windows 8 is compatible with BioShock 2. I've download GFWL, error 0x000002E4 still pops up, I have tried the stupid "-dx9" solution, did not work. So unfortunately there is no way for me to play this game no matter what. The cursor is stuck in the middle of the logo, and the only way to get it off it to restart the computer. Publicado originalmente por SynergyProtocol:When I download fake Dll file it actually trys to start the game, but then it tells me my video card is not made for the game (I know this, but I can actually play BioShock Infinite so this isn't the problem) and I have the choice to play anyway, the thing is, when I try to move my mouse its stuck on the BioShock 2 banner and will not move. I am also running Windows 8, so I can formally announce that the game works with Windows 8.įor Windows 8 users, you will need to install the newest GFWL, I have the link here. It took me 2 hours of trial and error just to get my game running smoothly. If none of those fix your game, then I recommend trying it in another OS using the Compatibility Mode. The instructions are in the "Read me file." I'll post the link at the bottom of this post. A guy made a fake version you can place into your Bioshock folder. Now if it's GFWL, that's causing you the problem. Click on that and add the following without the quotes. ![]() Right-click this folder and choose Properties from the context menu. In the Documents folder, you should see a new BioShock 2 folder. Go to the game on Steam, right click and hit properties. Open the game afterwards by opening Steam and double-clicking the game from the Steam Library tab and make sure you start a new game in BioShock 2. For those who don't already know how to do so. I eventually found one that showed you how. On Steam I couldn't figure out how to launch the game with Directx9, so I had to go searching forums. I originally thought it was the GFWL (Games For Windows Live), but that wasn't the case this time, it was Directx10. I can restart the game and continue to do this, only getting to the same spot. When I run the game, I am able to play it for 10 minutes before it crashes. I will start off by mentioning my problem. I myself am a victim of this problem, but I believe to have all of the solutions.
